The UAE national football team defeated Gulf United, a team playing in the first division, 4-0 in a friendly match on Monday. The match took place at the Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi, concluding the team's internal training camp held in the capital during the international break in preparation for upcoming football competitions. Goals for the UAE team were scored by Yuri Cesar (two goals), and one each by Harib Abdullah and Ali Saleh. The match was attended by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, President of the Football Association, Abdullah Nasser Al Junaibi, First Vice President of the Association and head of the Professional League, members of the Board of Directors Abdulmohsen Fahad Al Dosri, Fahd Ismail Al Hosani, Yahya Khalif Al Marar, Amel Hassan Bushalakh, and the Association's Secretary-General Mohammed Abdullah Al Zahiri.
